Still working on chapter 18
It's been a busy week this last week. Between an unexpected trip out of town and the drama with the fires and everything, I'll admit I haven't really gotten as much done as I intended. Okay, so I haven't accomplished much of anything at all. I was hoping to do some catching up today, but ended up spending the morning with a neighbor who was in a great deal of pain and needed someone to sit with her and make sure she was all right. My mother would say that people are the important things, and I wholeheartedly agree. I know my friend had things she intended to work on this morning that she didn't get to, either. Sometimes that is simply the way of life.
