Lost the Plot?

Okay, so it's been awhile since I blogged on this topic-- the plot of a story, and how it impacts whether a book lasts a lifetime or simply fades into forgotten.

For some reason today I have the Newsboys song "Lost the Plot" stuck in my head. Remember that one? It was always one of my favorites.

So unfortunately, that's a little how I'm feeling with my manuscript at present. There are certain sub-plots that are sort of all up in the air-- which is great because it adds some twists and turns to what is, at heart, a pretty simple story. But I'm having a hard time juggling all those threads. Hmm.

Anyway. So that's the theme for my life at present.

Manuscript? Lost the plot.

Blog? Lost the plot.

Life in general? Yeah, pretty much.

But before this turns into a pity-party (watch your mailbox for an invitation and burn upon receipt!), I will say adieu and promise, yet again, to pick up the plot thread next week.
