So much more work to do on my project. Blah. Can we say "lousy attitude?" LOL. I'm so grateful that the draft is finished. A great crit partner and I spent some time brainstorming some tag line ideas and we came up with this for my manuscript:
A shattered past. A new beginning. But it could become his worst nightmare.
I've been working on removing the prologue, which means the info it contained has to be revealed in the course of the story (which, it kind of was anyway, but now I don't have the prologue there to help the pieces come together, so I have to be sure what comes out in the chapters makes sense and isn't confusing.) and also adding in some snapshots of the past at the opening of each chapter. I'm not sure what I think of them yet, or if an agent/editor will look at them and go "Um, no. Take those out!" At this point, I'm not worried about that. I like the dimensions it adds to the story and to the protagonist and his past.
Anyway, so that's my writing news. :)
