When the dreaded Volturi close in on the Cullen Family, Bella commits to do whatever it takes to protect the child she saw in her dreams. As the battle looms nearer, it becomes clear to Bella that she has more strength than even she gave herself credit for. But will it be enough to protect her new family from total destruction?
This is the fourth and last (so far) book in Meyer's Twilight Saga. I liked it better than the third one, though there are some POV changes that it took me awhile to get used to, but I think the additional viewpoint added a lot of depth to the story.
I love Stephenie Meyer's use of foreshadowing-- she follows the same basic pattern in each book, where there is a looming inevitable threat that draws nearer as the story progresses. The tension rises gradually as the story progresses and the threat becomes more apparent.
As with the other Twilight books, the romance between Edward and Bella is handled really tactfully. There's probably a little more language in the later books in the series, but over all, compared to a lot of the YA that's out there... these are pretty cleanly written.

I wonder if you know about the partial draft of "Midnight Sun" which is Edward's perspective? I was glued to my computer and felt very sad that it wasn't finished. Here is the link from Stephenie Meyer's site. http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_partialdraft3.pdf
Ack! the link cut off. Here it is.

I give up. You can find it on Stephenie Meyer's site.
I did see that! I was really sad, too. What a horrible betrayal. I hope that someday she is able to finish it despite everything. Thanks for posting that link. :)
