Review: Reflections of God's Holy Land by Eva Marie Everson and Miriam Feinberg Vamosh

Reflections of God's Holy Land is a hard-cover book with a beautiful dust jacket. It contains large full-color illustrations, historical information about many Biblically significant sites, as well as author Eva Marie Everson's spiritual journey as she visited these places.

The historical facts are intriguing and easy to understand. They bring new meaning to the beautiful landscapes and features represented in the book. The 'Reflections' portions of the text show the emotional and spiritual response that deepen a reader's understanding of the places described and pictured.

Among those sites visited are The Dead Sea, Rachel's Tomb, Nazareth, the Mount of Beatitudes, Mount Carmel, the Garden of Gethsemane, Via Dolorosa, and the Garden Tomb.

The combination of text and photos creates a whole experience, a spiritual journey through history. This is a perfect book to display on a coffee or sofa table, or to give friends and family who have a love for the Holy Land.

Eva Marie Everson's other works include The Potluck Club, Intimate Moments with God, Intimate Encounter with God, and One True Vow. The first book in her new series, The Potluck Catering Club was released in August.

Miriam Feinberg Vamosh also wrote Women at the Time of the Bible, Daily Life at the Time of Jesus, and Israel, Land of the Bible.
